This is the 8th year of Connect.Tech, and we're in it for the long-haul.
There will be NO REFUNDS this year, but if you are unable to attend, and you cancel within 2 to 4 weeks (or before) of the event, we can transfer your registration to 2022. Any cancellations within 2 weeks are not eligible for transferring or refunds

Event format
This event will be in-person, at the venue indicated on the main page. The venue has specific rules which we will be following.
We are planning the event for reduced attendance compared to previous years.

CDC and State & City Rules for gatherings
We will be following CDC, City and State Department of Health Guidelines.
Social distancing, mask wearing, and vaccination guidelines from both of these organizations will be followed.
Please note: we will continue to monitor large event expectations, and re-assess closer to the time of the event and make any necessary adjustments, it is impossible to precisely predict months in advance what will be these guidelines in November. We will be working with the venue and health department to ensure that we comply with all rules and guidelines that will be in place at the time of the conference.
We will likely be accepting speakers from only within the US to reduce international air travel

Vaccination policy
We are following the CDC and State Department of Health rules for vaccinations.
We are asking *all* participants to have received a full COVID vaccination at least two weeks prior to the event on November 8.
We do not currently feel prepared to verify vaccine compliance due to legal, logistic, and health privacy reasons, so we do not expect to be checking vaccinations. This could change for any reason - local and national case counts, straight-forward capability for vaccination certification, local and national rules & guidance, etc.
info
Mask policy
Again, we will be following CDC and local guidelines. Currently that means that fully vaccinated people do not need to wear a mask; attendees are encouraged to wear masks
If you are not vaccinated, you must wear a mask and strictly following social distancing
Again, this could change for any reason - local and national case counts, straight-forward capability for vaccination certification, local and national rules & guidance, etc.
